Finance Manager
Job Description
As a Product Designer, you will work within a Product Delivery Team fused with UX, engineering, product and data talent. You will help the team design beautiful interfaces that solve business challenges for our clients. We work with a number of Tier 1 banks on building web-based applications for AML, KYC and Sanctions List management workflows. This role is ideal if you are looking to segue your career into the FinTech or Big Data arenas.
Key Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end finance engagements from initial discovery and diagnostics through to implementation and handover.
- Work closely with CFOs, Finance Directors, and senior stakeholders to design practical finance solutions aligned to business objectives.
- Lead defined workstreams across areas such as financial reporting, budgeting & forecasting, cashflow management, controls, and process improvement.
- Translate business requirements into clear financial models, reporting outputs, and process documentation.
- Maintain high standards of delivery, ensuring outputs are accurate, timely, and fit for purpose.
- Estimate effort and support planning for finance workstreams across client engagements..
- Collaborate with technology, data, and systems teams to support finance system implementations and automation initiatives.
- Use data to challenge assumptions, identify risks, and support evidence-based decision-making
- Prepare and present insights, findings, and recommendations to senior finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, templates, and best practices within The CFO HQ consulting community.
Skill & Experience
- 3+ years’ experience working in financial management, finance business partnering, or professional services / advisory.
- Strong grounding in management accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Experience working in fast-paced or change environments, including transformation or project-based work.
- Comfortable operating within structured delivery frameworks, timelines, and milestones
- Strong Excel and financial modelling capability; exposure to BI or reporting tools is an advantage.
- Familiarity with finance systems, ERPs, or reporting tools (e.g. NetSuite, SAP, Xero, Power BI, Adaptive, Anaplan, etc.) is beneficial.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with senior leaders.
- Experience working in agile or iterative delivery environments is a plus.
