1. Terms
By accessing or using the Job Board operated by The CFO HQ (“we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree, you must not use this site.
The Job Board provides a platform for employers, recruiters, and candidates to advertise, seek, and exchange information about professional opportunities. We are not a party to any employment, consultancy, interim, or advisory agreement that may arise between users.
Use of the platform constitutes acceptance of these Terms in full.
2. Eligibility & User Responsibilities
Users represent and warrant that:
- information submitted is accurate, lawful, and not misleading;
- they have authority to post roles or share candidate data;
- use of the site will not breach employment law, data protection law, or confidentiality obligations;
- job advertisements are genuine opportunities and not speculative, promotional, or misleading.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials and all activity conducted under your account.
3. Platform Role & No Employment Relationship
The CFO HQ is a global professional services, technology and advisory platform. We do not:
- guarantee placement,
warrant candidate suitability,
- verify every statement made by users,
or act as employer, agent, or fiduciary for either party.
Any contract or engagement entered into is solely between the hiring organisation and the candidate. In scenarios where the CFO HQ is mandated for a retained search, the retained “search” engagement will be between the organisation and The CFO HQ.
4. Payments & Commercial Terms
Where fees apply for postings, subscriptions, featured listings, marketing exposure, or talent access:
- charges are non-refundable unless agreed otherwise in writing;
- late payments may result in suspension or removal of services;
- we reserve the right to amend pricing with reasonable notice.
Separate signed agreements override these standard terms where applicable.
5. Acceptable Use
Users must not:
- transmit false, defamatory, discriminatory, or unlawful material;
- upload viruses or malicious code;
- harvest or scrape data;
- bypass platform safeguards;
- use information obtained for unsolicited marketing.
We reserve the right to remove content or suspend access at our discretion.
6. Confidentiality
Information shared on the platform may be commercially sensitive.
Users agree not to disclose or misuse non-public information relating to roles, organisations, candidates, or transactions..
The CFO HQ accepts no liability for misuse of information once accessed by authorised users, but will act promptly where breaches are identified..
7. Candidate & Employer Due Diligence
Users are responsible for conducting their own verification, referencing, and background checks.
The CFO HQ makes no representation regarding:
- the accuracy or completeness of CVs, biographies, or representations made by candidates or employers;
- legal right to work or immigration status;
- qualifications, certifications, or professional standing;
- financial integrity or past conduct;
- fitness for a particular role, transaction, or regulatory requirement.
All hiring and engagement decisions, and the consequences arising from them, remain solely the responsibility of the employer or engaging party.
Exception: Retained or Managed Engagements
Where an employer has entered into a separate written agreement with The CFO HQ for retained search, embedded recruitment, or managed services, we may perform additional sourcing, screening, or verification activities expressly described within that agreement.
Such activities:
- are undertaken solely for the benefit of the contracting client;
- are limited to the scope, methodology, and reliance framework set out in the governing contract;
- may rely on information provided by third parties;
- do not constitute audit, investigative, or certification services.
No other party may rely on those activities for any purpose.
Unless explicitly stated in writing, no step taken by The CFO HQ shall create a guarantee, assurance, fiduciary duty, or transfer of risk from the employer.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The CFO HQ shall not be liable for:
- indirect or consequential loss;
- loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, or reputation;
- hiring decisions;
- failed transactions;
- or disputes between users
- for unsolicited marketing.
Total liability, if any, shall not exceed fees paid to us in the preceding 12 months under any circumstances.
Nothing excludes liability for fraud or matters that cannot legally be limited.
9. Intellectual Property
All platform content, technology, AI, branding, methodology, and materials belong to The CFO HQ unless otherwise stated.
Users may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or exploit materials without written permission.
Furthermore, all platform and service content, databases, branding, trademarks, methodologies, research, frameworks, designs, text, graphics, and materials are owned by or licensed to The CFO HQ unless otherwise stated.
Users may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, scrape, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit any material without our prior written consent.
Unauthorised use constitutes a material breach of these Terms and may violate intellectual property, confidentiality, and unfair competition laws.
The CFO HQ reserves all rights to pursue legal remedies available at law or equity, including but not limited to:
- injunctive or equitable relief;
- recovery of direct and indirect damages;
- loss of profits and reputational harm;
- statutory or enhanced damages where applicable;
- recovery of legal fees and enforcement costs.
10. Data Protection & Privacy
Users must comply with applicable data protection regulations when uploading or accessing personal information.
By using the site, you confirm you have appropriate legal basis to share candidate or client data.
Lawful Basis & Transparency
Users confirm that, where required, individuals have been informed:
- how their information will be used;
- that it may be shared with or accessed through The CFO HQ platform;
- and that it may be transferred to prospective employers, advisers, or service providers.;
Where consent is relied upon, users are responsible for obtaining and maintaining valid consent.
Nature of Relationship
Unless otherwise agreed in a separate written contract, The CFO HQ acts as an independent platform provider and not as a data controller or processor on behalf of users.
Each employer, recruiter, or candidate remains solely responsible for determining the lawful basis and purpose of processing personal data they submit or obtain.
Accuracy of Information
Users are responsible for ensuring that personal data provided is accurate, up to date, and limited to what is necessary for recruitment or advisory purposes.
Prohibited Data
Users must not upload or transmit:
special category or highly sensitive personal data unless strictly required and legally permitted;
information obtained unlawfully;
data subject to restrictions that prevent sharing;
material that breaches confidentiality, court order, or regulatory duty.
Security & Access
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials and for restricting access to authorised personnel only.
Any suspected or actual data breach, misuse, or unauthorised access relating to information obtained from the platform must be reported to The CFO HQ without undue delay.
Cross-Border Transfers
Where users access or transfer personal data across jurisdictions, they are responsible for ensuring appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with applicable law.
Retention
Users agree not to retain personal data obtained through the Job Board longer than necessary for legitimate recruitment or advisory purposes.
Monitoring & Enforcement
The CFO HQ reserves the right to suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe data protection obligations are being breached or where continued access could expose us or others to regulatory or reputational risk.
Indemnity
Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless The CFO HQ against claims, losses, regulatory penalties, or costs arising from their failure to comply with data protection obligations.
11. Termination & Suspension
We may restrict or terminate access without notice where:
- Terms are breached;
- payment obligations fail;
- behaviour risks legal or reputational harm.
- fraud is detected;
- misconduct for unsolicited marketing.
Termination does not affect accrued rights.
12. Revision & Errata
Content may contain inaccuracies or typographical errors.
We reserve the right to correct or update information at any time without obligation or liability to anyone.d marketing.
Any revisions are wholly and soley at the discretion of The CFO HQ.
13. Modification to Terms
We may revise these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Job Board confirms acceptance of the latest version.
We reserve the right to remove content or suspend access at our discretion.
14. Governing Terms
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.marketing.

For The CFO HQ Job Board & Talent Platform
Employer Posting Rules
Employers using the platform agree that:
- all vacancies are genuine, current opportunities;
compensation, location, and reporting lines are not misleading;
- they have authority to recruit for the role;
advertisements comply with employment, equality, and immigration law;
- postings will not damage the reputation of The CFO HQ.
We reserve the right to edit, refuse, suspend, or remove postings at our discretion, particularly where reputational, regulatory, or legal risk may arise.
Employers may not use postings to gather market intelligence, build competitor pipelines, or solicit consultants.
Candidate Conduct Terms
Candidates agree that information provided:
is truthful and not exaggerated;
does not breach obligations to current or former employers;
may be verified independently.
Candidates must not:
approach clients directly unless authorised;
represent themselves as employees or agents of The CFO HQ;
disclose confidential opportunities.
We may remove profiles or restrict access at any time.
Data Processing Framework (Platform Level)
Each party acts as an independent controller of data unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
Users warrant they:
have legal grounds to share data;
will provide transparency to individuals;
will handle information securely.
Users indemnify The CFO HQ against claims, investigations, fines, or damages arising from misuse.
Fee Protection & Introduction Ownership
Where The CFO HQ introduces, presents, or materially facilitates contact with a candidate, we are deemed the effective cause of introduction.
Fees become payable if the candidate is engaged:
directly or indirectly;
via affiliate, subsidiary, or connected party;
within a defined period (commonly 12–24 months).
Attempts to re-route engagement structures to avoid fees will not invalidate our entitlement.
Replacement / Rebate Positioning
Where a rebate or replacement is offered under a signed agreement:
eligibility requires full and timely fee payment;
termination must not relate to restructuring, redundancy, or role change;
replacement searches follow standard market availability;
cash refunds are not guaranteed unless explicitly agreed.
This protects you from unlimited liability exposure.
PSL-Style Recruiter / Intermediary Terms
Third-party recruiters must not submit candidates without prior written approval.
Where approved:
ownership of introduction remains with The CFO HQ;
fee splits must be agreed in writing before submission;
speculative CVs create no rights.
We may reject candidates already known to us or our clients.
Expert Network Usage Terms
Participants in expert calls agree:
discussions are for information purposes only;
no MNPI or confidential information may be disclosed;
The CFO HQ is not liable for decisions made based on conversations.
Clients are responsible for ensuring compliance with insider trading, competition, and regulatory laws.
We may monitor, record, or audit participation where appropriate.
Confidential Search Protocols
For sensitive mandates:
identities may be anonymised;
disclosure stages are controlled;
candidates must not attempt to identify clients outside authorised channels.
Breaches may result in removal and potential liability.
We accept no responsibility for market speculation once confidentiality is broken by users.
Non-Circumvention
Users agree not to bypass The CFO HQ to engage introduced parties directly.
Where circumvention occurs, full fees plus recovery costs become immediately payable.
Limitation of Reliance
Information, shortlists, compensation data, or market insight are advisory.
They do not constitute audit, valuation, or legal opinion.
Decision-making responsibility remains with the client.
Right to Refuse Service
We may decline to act for any organisation or individual where risk, conflict, or reputational exposure is identified.
