Marc Daniels are working with a fast-growing, PE owned Infrastructure business to appoint an FP&A Manager. As FP&A Manager you will be responsible for creating the FP&A capability from the ground up, designing the processes, systems, reporting frameworks and team structure required to support a fast-growing business.

You will act as a strategic business partner to senior stakeholders, providing insight, challenge, and guidance to support key commercial decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • · Owning the group / business unit P&L view, including monthly management reporting, commentary and insight into drivers of revenue, gross margin, opex, capex and profitability.
  • · Leading the budgeting and forecasting process – designing the calendar, templates and methodology for annual budgets, rolling forecasts and long-range plans.
  • · Producing regular forecasts (e.g. monthly/quarterly) and updating outlook for revenue, costs, cash and key operational metrics in collaboration with department heads.
  • · Performing detailed variance analysis (actual vs budget/forecast/prior year), identifying root causes and translating these into clear narratives for senior stakeholders.
  • · Building and maintaining financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment cases, headcount planning and scenario analysis.
  • · Developing and tracking KPIs and performance dashboards that give visibility on commercial performance across the business.
  • · Partnering with leaders across functions to improve financial accountability, challenge assumptions and support better commercial decision-making.
  • · Contributing to the design and enhancement of financial systems, reporting tools and data processes to improve speed, accuracy and insight.
  • · Supporting board, executive and investor reporting packs with robust analysis and commentary.
  • · Mentoring and developing FP&A and finance talent as the organisation scales.

About You

We're looking for an ambitious FP&A leader who thrives in high-growth environments and enjoys building functions rather than simply managing them.

You will likely possess:

· ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification.

· Significant FP&A leadership experience within a technology, SaaS, software, digital or high-growth environment.

· Proven experience building or transforming FP&A capabilities.

· Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence stakeholders at executive level.

· Advanced financial modelling and strategic planning expertise.

· Experience working within venture-backed, private equity-backed or high-growth businesses.

· Excellent communication and presentation skills.

· The ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in a fast-moving environment
