Our client is a growing and forward-thinking business seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their Accounts team. The role will play an important part in supporting the continued financial development of the business.

The Role

The Finance Manager will take ownership of the company's day-to-day financial planning and reporting activities, while providing commercially focused insight to support business performance.

Key responsibilities will include:

Managing full-cycle credit control and supporting effective cash collection.

Taking ownership of cash flow planning, forecasting and financial records, providing clear visibility of the company's financial position.

Supporting budgeting, forecasting and strategic financial planning.

Identify financial risks, opportunities and areas for improvement.

Managing payroll processes.

Managing prepayments, accruals, VAT returns and account reconciliations.

Analysing costs and identifying opportunities for cost savings and improved financial efficiency.

Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring appropriate regulatory and financial compliance.

Supporting external audit processes and liaising with auditors as required.

Providing wider financial and commercial support to the business as it continues to grow.

About the Person

The successful candidate will ideally have experience in a Finance Manager, Management Accountant or similar commercial finance position.

Commercially minded with an understanding of how finance impacts wider business performance.

Experienced in cash flow planning, forecasting and financial analysis.

Highly organised and disciplined, with excellent attention to detail.

Confident working with Excel and financial software.

Proactive in identifying problems, risks and opportunities.

Solutions-focused, with the confidence to recommend and implement improvements.

Calm and methodical when working under pressure.
