Finance Manager / Finance & Payroll Manager

3D Personnel is an established and growing recruitment business specialising in the Construction, Civil Engineering, M&E and Infrastructure sectors across the UK and Ireland. We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager / Finance All-Rounder to join our team and play a key role in supporting the financial operations of our recruitment business. This is a varied, hands-on position, ideally suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, taking ownership of their responsibilities and working closely with senior management.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Director and Managing Director, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, with a particular focus on weekly payroll, management reporting and financial administration.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing weekly payroll for our temporary and contract workforce, including timesheets, starters, leavers and deductions

Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports

Overseeing purchase and sales ledgers, invoicing and credit control

Managing bank reconciliations and supporting cash flow reporting

Supporting VAT returns, year-end accounts and compliance

Maintaining accurate financial records and accounting systems

Supporting wider business administration and HR-related tasks

Working closely with our recruitment consultants and management team to ensure smooth financial operations

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

Previous experience in a Finance Manager, Finance Officer or similar all-round finance role

Experience managing weekly payroll, ideally within recruitment, staffing or another temporary labour business

Strong knowledge of accounting processes and financial reporting

Good Excel skills and experience with accounting software

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

A proactive, hands-on approach with the confidence to work independently

AAT qualifications or progress towards ACCA/CIMA would be advantageous but not essential
