A respected and well-established not-for-profit organisation in Burnley is seeking a Finance Manager to join its friendly finance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

Your new role

Working closely with the senior finance team, you'll play a key role in supporting month-end processes and ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the day-to-day management of the finance function
• Completing balance sheet reconciliations
• Posting and reconciling accruals, prepayments, accrued income and deferred income
• Performing intercompany reconciliations and processing internal recharges
• Managing the purchase ledger function and supplier payment runs
• Extracting, reconciling and posting transactions from online platforms including PayPal and Stripe
• Month-end close activities and financial reporting requirements
• Analysing financial data using ExcelWhat you'll need to succeed
• Part-qualified or newly qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA
• Previous experience within a Management Accountant, Finance Manager or similar role
• Strong reconciliation and month-end experience
• Good Excel skills
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
• Not-for-profit sector experience would be advantageous but is not essentialWhat you'll get in return
