Interim Financial Controller

Interim Fractional Group Financial Controller | Leeds

I’m supporting an established and growing business in Leeds with the appointment of an Interim Fractional Group Financial Controller.

This is an initial 6-month assignment, working approximately 3 days per week on-site, with potential for the role to be extended or become permanent.

Following a period of transition and change, the business is looking for an experienced, hands-on finance leader who can come in and make an immediate impact.

The role will involve:

Leading and developing a small Finance Team

Improving financial controls, processes and reporting

Producing monthly management accounts across multiple group entities

Managing cash flow, working capital, budgeting and forecasting

Leading year-end and audit preparation

Managing bank covenant reporting and financial compliance

Working closely with the Managing Director to support commercial and strategic decision-making

This would suit an experienced Financial Controller, Group Financial Controller, Head of Finance or Finance Director who enjoys getting into the detail and improving how a finance function operates.

📍 Leeds, on-site

📅 Approx. 3 days per week

⏳ Initial contract up to 6 months

💷 Remuneration dependent on experience
