We’re looking for an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team, providing high-quality financial insight, challenge and support to senior stakeholders across our Operations directorate.

You’ll combine strong technical expertise with commercial thinking, helping colleagues understand performance, identify opportunities and use resources effectively.

The role

As our Senior Finance Business Partner, you’ll take ownership of management reporting for the Operations directorate, covering management accounts, budgets, quarterly forecasting, KPIs and variance analysis. You’ll be working with budget holders at all levels of the business, including our Chief Operating Officer. Your insight will help senior leaders understand financial performance and make informed strategic and operational decisions.

Using your experience in business partnering, you’ll build strong relationships across the organisation, acting as a trusted finance partner who can provide constructive challenge, commercial advice and practical solutions. You’ll support effective decision-making, identify Value for Money opportunities and savings.

You’ll lead and develop a team of three colleagues, including an Apprentice, creating an environment where people can perform at their best and continue to grow. You’ll work collaboratively with other Finance team members and look for ways to continuously improve our finance processes and systems. From time to time, you’ll also deputise for the Head of Business Partnering. Approval of reconciliation work and contact with our external auditors throughout the year, will form part of this role.

What we’re looking for

You’ll be a qualified accountant with strong experience across management accounting, month and year-end reporting, budgeting, forecasting and finance business partnering.
