As a Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Own the day to day finance function, including purchase and sales ledger, bank reconciliations and cash flow forecasting

Support the transition from Sage 200 to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

Prepare monthly management accounts, KPIs and margin and profitability analysis

Manage VAT returns, payroll liaison and balance sheet reconciliations

Help define reporting requirements, controls and processes, becoming the internal finance systems expert

Support departmental managers with clear, accurate financial information

As a Finance Manager, your experience will include:

Solid management accounting experience with a strong understanding of day to day finance processes

Experience preparing management accounts, with strong Excel skills and excellent attention to detail

AAT Level 4 or another recognised accounting qualification

Experience within manufacturing or engineering environments is desirable

Sage and/or Business Central experience, and exposure to system implementation or process improvement, would be an advantage

Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
