Finance Manager

We are currently assisting a growing design and manufacturing studio to find a great new Finance Manager.

The Role of Finance Manager:-

Reporting directly to the Owner, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day financial management of the business and provide financial insight to support operational and strategic decisions across the company.

Preparation of monthly management accounts.

Budgeting and forecasting.

Cash flow management and reporting.

Inventory and stock valuation.

Margin and profitability analysis.

Preparation for draft annual accounts for audit to complete

Payroll oversight.

VAT returns preparation

Producing board-level reports and key performance indicators.

Supporting operational and production teams with financial analysis and business partnering.

Responsibility for purchasing and supplier expenditure management.

Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and controls as the business grows.

Ideal Experience of the Finance Manager:-

A full professional accounting qualification (AAT or any of the following: (ACCA, CIMA)

A minimum of two years’ experience in a finance management or similar role.

Experience within manufacturing or product-based businesses would be advantageous but is not essential.

Experience using accounting software such as Xero or Sage.

Strong Excel Analyse skills with formulars such as VLOOKUP, SUMIF

Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.

The ability to work independently and take ownership of the finance function.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with colleagues across the business.
