Financial Controller | Derbyshire | Up to £60,000 + Benefits

We're recruiting on behalf of a successful international business seeking an experienced Financial Controller to play a key role in strengthening financial reporting, controls and overall business performance.

Reporting into senior finance leadership, you'll take ownership of core financial control activities while partnering with stakeholders across the business to provide insight, challenge and support informed decision-making.

What We're Looking For

We're keen to speak with qualified or qualified-by-experience finance professionals who can demonstrate:

Previous Financial Controller, Finance Manager, Senior Management Accountant or similar experience

Strong technical accounting and reporting knowledge

Experience of month-end and year-end processes

Budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management expertise

Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

A proactive approach to improving processes and controlsWe're particularly interested in candidates with experience operating in multi-entity or international businesses. Exposure to group consolidations would be highly beneficial, although not essential.

Experience gained within manufacturing, engineering, technology or other operationally focused environments would be advantageous.
