Are you looking for a broad financial controller role within a well-established international manufacturing group? This is an opportunity to take ownership of financial control, reporting and business partnering across multiple entities, while leading a small finance team and influencing operational performance. What will the Group Financial Controller role involve?

Lead the financial control and reporting activities for UK operations, while supporting reporting requirements across other group entities

Manage the month-end, year-end and statutory reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance

Oversee budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis, providing meaningful insight to senior stakeholders

Drive cost control, inventory accounting and variance analysis, with exposure to standard costing where applicable

Act as a key finance partner to operational management, helping to manage expectations and support decision-making

Maintain a strong controls environment and coordinate relationships with auditors, tax advisors and external stakeholders

Lead, mentor and develop a finance team of three direct reports, encouraging continuous improvement and accountability

Suitable Candidate for the Group Financial Controller role

Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with experience operating at Financial Controller level

Experience within a multi-entity environment, ideally with exposure to international subsidiaries

Ability to influence stakeholders and introduce new ideas
